Eastleigh Scouts are inviting the residents of Eastleigh to scale new heights as they try to recruit 50 Adults to support the 9% increase in Youth Membership in the last 12 months.
The Scout will be erecting a climbing wall in Wells Place outside the Swan Centre and are inviting people to climb to the top this Saturday between 9am and 4pm. The tower is just part of an event designed to introduce adults to the Scout Movement in Eastleigh.
With an increase of 9% Young Membership in 2010, Eastleigh Scouts are in the difficult position of having to find the 50 new Adult members who will be able to support these young people in their activities.
If you have been a Scout in the past, and want to get involved again, or are just curious about what Scouting is all about, then come along to Wells Place between 9am and 4pm, where you can talk to current members, both young and old.
