Having now fully recovered from what was a very busy, hectic and hugely successful Scout & Cub Summer Camp, some of the photos are now available to see on line.

Check out the home page of the website for the link....

This week the Scouts are doing some back woods cooking at a local camp site.
It will be their choice completely what food they bring and decide to try and cook.

Not sure if the leaders will try their cooking or not??

This week is the much anticipated "Chip Hike".

This simply involves the Scouts planning their own route from point A to point B (as previously done the other week).

The only rule is to stop off at the Checkpoint (the Chippy) where they will be served a large portion of chips for the efforts, then continue on the route back to Scout HQ.

This weekend saw the Group hold a Camp to mark it's Centenary Year.  There were over 90 Beavers, Cubs & scouts in attendance which made the whole weekend a roaring success.

Activities included face painting, a bouncy castle, fire lighting, cooking a fried egg with a candle (bit of a challenge!!), wide games, football, rounders and a whole heap of fun, on what was a glorious weekend weather wise too.

Our thanks go out to the parents that gave up their time to come along and help out, we couldn't have managed it without you.

Who's looking forward to Summer Camp???!!!    ME!

This weekend saw the return of the Trek Cart Competition which was held at Ferny Crofts.

8th Eastleigh Scouts had a Cart enter, and managed to bag 9th place out of 18 teams.

Well done lads - photos will appear shortly.
